1. Who operates RaiMail
RaiMail and raimail.com are owned and operated by BVRAI, Inc., a Canadian company ("BVRAI", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your use of RaiMail. By creating a RaiMail account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use RaiMail.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Separate terms apply to other BVRAI products, including Auto Max. These Terms do not replace the terms of a separate subscription or authorize additional charges.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if higher, and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Provide accurate account information, keep your recovery information current, and protect your credentials. You are responsible for your use of the account and for access you authorize. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly to support@bvrai.ca.
RaiMail uses the shared BVRAI account identity. Your sign-in or recovery email can be different from your RaiMail address. Mailbox addresses are subject to availability, reserved names, and abuse prevention. Changing a primary address may retain previous addresses as aliases; released addresses are not currently offered to another user.
3. Free mailboxes and service limits
The standard RaiMail mailbox is currently free. Auto Max subscribers may receive one automatically, and cancelling Auto Max does not by itself remove the free RaiMail mailbox. RaiMail membership is separate from Auto Max subscriptions and assistant credits.
Storage, recipient, attachment, and request limits apply. Limits may be adjusted to protect service capacity and users, with notice of material changes where practicable. Exceeding a limit may prevent additional storage or sending. Any future paid feature will have its price and applicable terms disclosed before you choose it. Phone numbers, virtual computers, and autonomous assistant services are not included in the current RaiMail mailbox.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use RaiMail to:
- Send spam, unlawful unsolicited messages, phishing, scams, or deceptive impersonation.
- Distribute malware, exploit other systems, or obtain access without authorization.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or distribute unlawful content.
- Violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
- Harvest addresses, bypass sending or signup limits, create accounts to evade restrictions, or disrupt the service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content and recipient information you provide. We may filter, rate limit, quarantine, or reject messages to address spam, malware, fraud, legal requirements, or service integrity. Filters may make mistakes; delivery and inbox placement are not guaranteed.
5. Your content and our software
You retain your rights in your messages, attachments, contacts, and other content. You grant BVRAI a non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service and meet applicable legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your content to BVRAI.
RaiMail branding, proprietary software, and documentation belong to BVRAI or its licensors. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. These Terms do not restrict rights granted by an applicable open-source licence.
6. Connected products and third parties
When you use RaiMail through Auto Max or another authorized client, that product may read or act on mailbox information to carry out the features you use. Review its settings and terms. A RaiMail account does not itself purchase assistant credits or authorize unrelated work.
Internet email passes through other providers. We do not control the policies of recipients, the servers they use, or their handling of messages after delivery. Third-party links and attachments are not an endorsement by BVRAI.
7. Suspension and closure
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, violations of these Terms, or legal requirements. Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to contact us. Urgent action may occur without advance notice.
You may stop using RaiMail at any time. Contact us to request mailbox closure or deletion, identifying whether your request concerns RaiMail or your shared BVRAI account. Information handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy. Keep copies of messages and attachments that you need independently of the service.
8. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RaiMail is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or delivery of every message. Maintenance, outages, filtering, recipient systems, and network conditions may delay or prevent mail delivery. RaiMail is not an emergency communications service.
We may change or discontinue features. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation so you can make other arrangements. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BVRAI and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, RaiMail, including lost profits, business opportunities, or data. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to RaiMail is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid BVRAI specifically for RaiMail in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits apply only where lawful. They do not exclude liability or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit, and do not remove mandatory consumer protections.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Ontario, except where applicable law gives you the right to use another court or remedy.
We may update these Terms. The date above identifies this version. We will provide notice of material changes before they take effect, except where urgent legal or security circumstances require earlier action, and seek agreement where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
11. Contact
For support, legal questions, or abuse reports, contact BVRAI, Inc., Canada, at support@bvrai.ca. Include enough detail to identify the issue, but do not email your password or authentication codes.
